PLANNING

I offer support in GIS and data visualization in the urban planning and land use fields. I have experience working with different kinds of data including creating databases. I work with data as a component of storytelling, including in creating graphic reports and presentations.

GIS & MAPPING

In my work with Comprehensive Assessment of Land Use Entitlements Study (CALES), I managed the project’s spatial data and static map visualization including geocoding, spatial data analysis, and creating map graphics for project reports.

I have also created graphic maps for creative projects such as the San Pablo Ave Community Newspaper

DATA VISUALIZATION

I have experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data to create visuals that help to illuminate a technical topic, such as zoning code or street infrastructure.

For the Chinatown Complete Streets Plan engagement process in Oakland as part of the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) team, I managed the documentation, analysis and report-back strategy for our findings.

REPORTS

I combine graphic design and data analysis to produce visual reports that share findings in a clear and engaging way.

At Community Arts Stabilization Trust (CAST), I supported the design of a survey to hear the impact of the pandemic on artist and art organizations. I managed the survey data analysis and production of a graphic report to share survey results with the broader arts and policy community.
